Terms of Service
The legally binding terms that apply when you use App Testers' 14-day Google Play closed testing service and Android tester service.
1. Scope of Testing Services
We provide real people with real Android devices to opt into your Google Play Console closed track and keep your app installed for 14 continuous days.
App Testers provides coordinated testing services to help developers meet the Google Play closed testing requirement.
- Real Testers: We provide 15 testers per app on the Starter plan and 25 on the Pro plan. Our testers are real people using real Android devices.
- 14 Continuous Days: Testers download your app and keep it installed for a minimum of 14 days.
- No Bots or Farms: We do not use bots or device farms. Testing is done by real people.
- Instant Start: Testing starts within 4 hours after we receive your valid opt-in link.
2. Client & App Requirements
Your app must follow Google's rules. If your app is a scam, contains malware, or gets banned by Google midway through the test, that is not our fault.
By using our service, you confirm that your app strictly adheres to the Google Play Developer Program Policies.
- No Malware: Apps must be free of deceptive behavior, spam, or malicious code.
- Account Standing: You are responsible for keeping your Developer account in good standing.
- Proper Configuration: You must correctly configure the closed testing track and invite our tester email list.
- Global Rollout: Your app rollout must be active in the required operating regions.
3. The 14-Day Guarantee & Production Access
We guarantee our testers will do their job. If Google rejects your production access application specifically because of tester inactivity, we will run another 14-day test for free.
We provide a strict performance guarantee. If Google explicitly cites insufficient tester engagement, opt-ins, or broken 14-day continuity as the reason for rejection, we will provide a repeat test at zero cost.
- Repeat Testing: A full 14-day re-test is provided free of charge if our testers fail the engagement check.
- Exclusions: We do not guarantee approval if rejected for poor UI/UX, missing core functionality, or a badly written production questionnaire.
- Google's Discretion: Google manually reviews apps; their final decision is beyond our control.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Because we allocate real human testers immediately, our services follow strict refund criteria.
- Before testers join: Cancel before our testers join your closed test for a full refund under our voluntary policy.
- After testers join: Our voluntary refund offer ends when testing starts. This does not affect any statutory consumer withdrawal or other rights.
- Delayed start: Contact us if we do not begin within 4 hours of receiving a valid opt-in link.
5. Limitation of Liability
- No Indirect Damages: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our service.
- Google Actions: We hold no liability for app removals, delayed review times, or suspension of your Google Play account.
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
